We’re a 10 minute drive or a quick ride on public transportation to downtown. The Spring brings Fishtown & city attractions including entertainment & foods throughout the city, the Pennsylvania Ballet, the Philly Orchestra and Art Museum. The Fishtown area that we are in is quaint with new growth & local activities - all in walking distance including music, food, groceries, parks, and a variety of interesting shops.
The space
The space is only used as a short term rental. If you are uncomfortable staying in someone's personal living space, this is the place for you. Although we live right next door, this place is completely separate. The essentials are provided without any unnecessary clutter. You'll love this original Philadelphia architectural gem. The owners have lovingly restored this place and created a setting to enjoy the warm feel of home while enjoying all of Philadelphia's offerings. The uniqueness of this recent renovation includes high ceilings, stained glass windows set within a diverse neighborhood in the midst of an ongoing revival. This unit has an open floor plan. There is abundant natural lighting. There is also a queen size sofa bed in the living room.

This unit is a separate apartment with a separate entrance. The owners live around the corner, next door. You will have complete privacy.
Other things to note
If you drive a car, please note that the free street parking typically gets filled by 6 PM. Using a car service such as Uber will eliminate any parking challenges and will save you parking fees if you plan any activities in Center City.
Also note the bedroom has a built- in bed - one side is against the wall which means you have to get in and out of the bed from one side only. The bed has a new firm mattress.
