Two blocks from the world-renown Ditch Plains Beach on a quiet street next to a preserve is a stunning modern beach house defined by understated luxury and offering unique privacy for Ditch Plains. The house was designed for an unparalleled beach lifestyle. An open loft-like first floor with high ceilings and a concrete floor features a living room with large L shaped Roche Bobois leather sofa, an Eames Lounge, and a stone ribbon fireplace that frames the recessed television. The adjacent kitchen is equipped with Wolf, Subzero and Miele appliances and a 12 foot carrara marble center island with seating for 6. The dining area, with a designer built reclaimed timber dining table and Eames chairs, seats 8 comfortably. The 16 foot custom slider provides access to a very large outdoor mahogany deck with a teak table for 10+ persons, outdoor lounge furniture, and a gas fired Webber grill. The front mahogany deck, accessed through a 10 foot slider, has Saarinen tables and chairs and is used for breakfast and watching the sunrise. The luxurious outdoor shower allows you to exit/enter the house from the first floor bathroom and it is the most coveted shower. The custom designed cantilevered steel and walnut staircase, fabricated in Italy, connects the 1st floor living/dining/kitchen space to the upper 3 bedrooms, full bathroom, and Master suite with private bath and office. All bedrooms have ample closet storage. Each bathroom has German manufactured Dornbracht faucets with custom designed walnut vanities, Duravit wall hung toilets with bidets, Carrara subway tile, heated pebble, and stone floors and flush mounted ceiling rainhead showers. The house has radiant floor heating and individually controlled a/c for every room and is decorated with vintage period pieces and a collection of vintage glass. Attached to the house is a 15+ surfboard storage station and dry under deck parking for 6 beach cruisers which come with the rental. Beach chairs, beach umbrella and a large beach wagon included.
