This cozy 1970's chalet style home has been carefully maintained over the years to retain original details. Unusual of a typical chalet in this community, our home offers a full size kitchen and primary bedroom with large ensuite bath. The half acre level lot with lawn, fire pit and comfortable deck offers space for relaxing, playing ball, or exploring nature. Take a 5 minute walk to beach, playground, or enjoy abundant wildlife from adjacent state game lands! The Chalet is located in Arrowhead Lake, a Gold Start Community. Guests gain access to 4 beaches, 2 lakes, 3 outdoor pools, playgrounds, tennis courts, basketball courts, beach volleyball, fitness room, the Lodge w/cafe and events, game lounge w/ping pong and billards, and more!
The first floor of the chalet is comprised of a main living room with wood burning stove, ample seating and 110" screen with projector, small dining table and bar, a separate kitchen with full size range and most necessities, one bedroom with full size bed and closet, a second bedroom with twin size bunk bed, closet, dresser, and children's books and toys, and one bathroom with corner shower. There is also access to an attached garage with washer and dryer (this space will be a furnished bonus room, but is under construction). From the main living room, the stairs lead to a hallway with large linen closet, loft room, and master bedroom. (Please note: the stair to these spaces is original and may be difficult for some as it has open risers and is somewhat steep with low headroom. Children should be supervised on the stair and in the loft landing due to the partially open railing. )The loft room is furnished with a futon, 50" smart tv, checker table, games, puzzles, and some toys. The loft has a door for privacy and a closet with hanging rod. The primary bedroom is furnished with king size bed with Beautyrest Mattress, comfortable reading chair, dresser, and work station desk. An architectural screen wall divides the primary bedroom and bathroom with large vanity, free-standing bathtub with hand shower, and marble shower beyond with the toilet in a separate water closet. The shower has both a rain shower head and adjustable hand shower to the side.
Exterior space is comprised of original wood deck with comfortable furniture, gravel patio with fire pit and dining table, two large driveways, pathways through natural foliage, open flat lawn space behind the house, and small decorative pond. There is also a detached garage, however, guests do not have access but can use the driveway. There is also a charcoal grill available for your use. Please bring your own firewood and charcoal.

Bookings must be made 5 days in advance due to the community registration process. Our home is part of Arrowhead Lake Community Association which requires every guest be registered as a temporary member. (The required community fees for this are included in our nightly rate - no extra fees for you! We transfer the required amount directly to the community association.) Upon booking, I will ask for your full name, email address, phone number, and number of vehicles you will be bringing in order to complete your registration. When you arrive the day of your reservation, simply stop at the Rental Center and pick up a pre-arranged packet with your vehicle gate card(s) and temporary membership wristbands. For 30+ day rentals, you will be required to sign a simple lease for the property which is submitted to Monroe County and Arrowhead Lake Community Association.
