The huge terrace with Weber gas grill, hammock, lounge chairs, fire pit, shuffleboard, corn hole, is perfect for outdoor fun. TONS of hiking, X-country skiing, and biking trails in the area, plus orchards, winery, breweries, and restaurants. The house sleeps 8 guests (see details). The living room is full of natural light from the large south-facing picture window overlooking the lake and also features a huge stone fireplace for gathering around. The newly renovated kitchen with granite countertops has an island for foodie group cooking. The well-equipped kitchen opens up to the dining room with a stunning one-mile view of Pinewood Lake. The home office is a great place for a private zoom calls – or an introvert’s escape. Wifi is newly upgraded to Frontier's "FiberOptic Gig Service" with a "25x faster upload speed than cable" and noted "best internet service for gaming" -- so stream, zoom, game, and binge-watch...or read a book. Located in beautiful Fairfield County, CT, in a suburban neighborhood, the Amtrack/MetroNorth (Bridgeport) station is about 13-minutes away. This host is delighted to assist as you plan your get-away. Please inquire about lake access for Pinewood Lake Association's "tenant membership" (only one granted per calendar year).
