Situated close to the best Fishing, hiking, paddling, skiing, shopping, dining, swimming & golf southern Vermont has to offer. Great location Just minutes to Hapgood Pond National Forest & Rec center for hiking and swimming with a sandy beach, Bromley Mountain Adventure Park and the renowned VT Orvis Fly Fishing School in Manchester. Walking distance to JJ Hapgood Pond General Store in Peru Village (has the best coffee). The West River and Appalachian trails are nearby. Southern VT Arts Center & Weston's VT Country Store are close by.
The open concept kitchen/living area upstairs is 32 ft x 48 ft. with a wood-burning fireplace, cathedral post & beam ceiling and hardwood floors throughout the entire 2nd level. The lower level provides a large foyer/mudroom, a bedroom with 2 twin beds and a full bathroom. The spacious house, built in 1991 was recently updated. 2 sets of sliding glass doors open onto a new large wrap-around composite deck that looks out to a wooded view. As you enjoy an alfresco meal on the deck's dining area, you'll have a view of the dazzling lush green trees and babbling brook. Recently added new windows and doors. Thanks to the sliding glass doors that connect the deck to the living area, you can admire the verdant vistas even when you're inside. A large adjacent field is perfect for playing games. We also have an attached 2 SUV size garage for those snowy days - NO scraping the windshield!
