Spend hot summer days at Sunken Forest a 23-minute walk away, where you can enjoy some shade and take a ranger-led walk through the trees and dunes. After a gorgeous day on the sand, take your pick from the dozens of local restaurants to sate your appetite. Steps away in the neighborhood is Schooner's Inn, a restaurant and bar near the ferry while Flynn's Fire Island is a two-minute walk from you.
