There are beautiful views of the waterfront from most windows. Great location to fish or swim from the rear floating dock or enjoy the 2 supplied kayaks for a nice paddle. Less than 10 minutes away is the beautiful and warm Gulf of Mexico. In the warm clear waters of the Gulf, you can fish or swim, hunt for scallops in season or view the wildlife everywhere. A typical day on the Gulf provides encounters with dolphins, turtles and the occasional manatee. These lovely creatures are often in the canal behind the home. A wildlife refuge is less than 200 feet away from this home. There are many kinds of fish live in the canals and we provide an outside sink to clean your fresh catch. You can then grill it on the provided gas grill. (Guests supply the gas if the tank is empty.) You can bring your own boat and tie up to the dock. A nearby county park has a boat ramp for easy launching. Don't have a boat? We can recommend a local place to rent boats. Or we can refer a fishing guide for the best fishing. Maybe you just want to relax on the screened porch and watch the water in comfort? This 2 bedroom home comes with everything you need for a relaxing vacation.
