Recently updated unit is clean, comfortable, bright, airy and well-equipped for your Jersey Shore vacation.
Avon beach badges are available for use while renting this unit in summer months. Located across the street from the Norwood Ave Beach entrance and also from the community pool, the location of this condo cannot be beat.
The unit is 900s.f. and has a spacious and open concept living room, dining area and kitchen area. Bedroom and closet space is very generous and each bedroom has a wall AC unit, although you may want to sleep with the windows open to fall asleep to the sound of crashing waves and catch the ocean breeze. Living area also has a wall AC unit and when renting during colder months, baseboard heat keeps the apartment cozy. A comfortable balcony patio with seating and a dining table provides outdoor living space to relax and refresh. Take in the beautiful ocean view from the balcony or while relaxing comfortably from the living room. The hall bathroom has a large, walk-in shower stall, pedestal sink and a comfort-height toilet.
The owner's suite is spacious with large closet, dresser, TV, split king bed and an ensuite bathroom that has a shower/tub combo, new vanity/sink and a shower head plus handheld combo. The ocean and Avon Pavilion can be viewed from the double windows. The second bedroom has a queen size bed, large 9' closet, dresser, a desk to get work done and also great light and ocean views from the two windows.
The living room has comfortable couches, coffee table, rocking chair and a TV (basic cable and Fire stick so you can watch whatever programs you like). The dining area has a large table and chairs and the kitchen is well equipped with a gas stove, oven, microwave, coffee pot, pots/pans, basic pantry supplies and full size refrigerator with ice maker. The unit has free, fast wifi throughout.
The building is quiet, very clean and has a coin-operated laundry room. One reserved parking space is included with the rental, additional on-street parking is also available. The building has a lending library, a bike rack (bring your own lock!) and a "hose off" area to remove sand after a day at the beach. There is a one-month minimum rental period and bed linens/towels are not provided. Please note that the condo complex has a strict no animals and no smoking policy. A discount is available for multiple month stays.
The little town of Avon is full of architectural gems! It has a wonderful, old-fashioned wooden boardwalk where people jog, stroll, or sit and watch the ocean from early morning until night. While Avon boardwalk is not very commercially developed, the highly popular bar and dining establishment, The Columns is one block away, as is Avon Pavilion for fine dining on the boardwalk with beach and ocean views.
All forms of water sports (surfing, boating, and fishing) are available as are nearby golfing, tennis, live music and theater, and fine dining. In this family-oriented town the beach is white sand and very clean with an excellent surf. A pretty lake with swans defines one end of Avon while the Shark River defines the other end. It's a 5 block walk inland to town and minutes drive to larger shopping centers.
